Belinda Vierthaler, LMSW, LACHA

Belinda is a Licensed Master Social Worker and licensed Administrator. She has worked as an Administrator in skilled nursing and assisted living communities and served as the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman under the administrations of Governor Parkinson and Governor Brownback. She developed the Administrator-In-Training program and taught the assisted living operators course at Johnson County Community College. Currently, she is the Director of GERTI, the education branch of Evergreen Living Innovations, Inc.

About this Course

If you ever wanted to have a basic understanding of the state regulations that govern state licensed only adult care homes in Kansas from a non-clinical or administrative perspective, then this is the class for you. Understanding whether a resident can be admitted or discharged can be confusing. Learn how to navigate through the state regulations and gain a better understanding of what they mean and how they impact your role. During the discussion of regulations you will also gain insight of survey readiness.
